Synopsis

'Chatrapathi' starring Prabhas is directed by S S Rajamouli. The movie has Sunami as has Tsunami as backdrop. The tsunami disaster was felt most in southern Coastal Andhra. A young man saving society from a politician who plans to exploit the tsunami victims for his own benefit, forms the plot. Using a basic plot from a Tamil film, writer Vijayendra Prasad and director S S Rajamouli have created a new story. This is an action film and has ingredients to please Prabhas fans. Prabhas describes the film has a mass film with elements to attract the ladies. Shriya plays Prabhas love interest. In a bid to help the producer, the director and hero have reduced their prices to fit within the budget. Rajamouli has slashed his remuneration. Prabhas also slashed his remuneration for this film.
