Synopsis: 'Donga-Dongadi' is the remake of Tamil superhit movie 'Tiruda Tirudi' under the banner of Sri Saideva Productions. Director Subramanyam Siva is being introduced to Tollywood through this remake, who directed the orignal Tamil movie.Manojkumar, second son of Mohanbabu is making his debut entry through film as hero. The film had almost completed the shooting part. One of the producers NV Prasad says, 'Our film Donga-Dongadi' has a good subject which could attract all classes of audiences. We have put our total concentration on the film and the director did the film with dedication and total involvement. Music director Dina gave melodious tunes to all the songs.

Story in brief ... Manojkumar belongs to a middle class family that lives in Tiruchi. Who lags behind academically, he spends most of his time with fellows of his own ilk. His elder brother is made of better stuff. Though fun-loving like his brother he is responsible and studious. On the other side is hero's encounters with the comely Sada, one of them leads to her accident. hero admits her to the hospital and spends money on her to save her life. Later all these encounters leads to further bad blood, Sada blames Manojkumar for her accident. When matters heat up at the home, Manojkumar leaves home to take up a job, where Sada lands up too. The duo continue with their bickering. How the relationship finally ends forms the rest of the movie.
