'Lakshmi' is a film that has everything - action, sentiments and humour.
Directed by V.V.Vinayak, 'Lakshmi' features Venkatesh in an important role. The film is based on sentiments. According to the film unit, "Venkatesh plays a responsible elder son in the film. Nayanatara and Charmee are the female lead in the movie. The film is enriched with good sequences, dialogues and stunts".
Venkatesh is happy with his character. He says director Vinayak has given it nice polish and finesse. For Charmi, this is a chance to consolidate her position. All through 2005, she had signs of improvement from being a mere glamour doll. She in fact had very good releases.
For Nayanatara, this is the first straight Telugu film. Nayanatara is obviously very keen to make a mark here.
Ramana Gogula’s songs have been very good.The songs that were released a couple of days back are indeed a good mix. The technical aspects of the film are also very encouraging.
Director V.V.Vinayak has an experience of delivering commercial hits. He comes up with the right package. There is no reason to doubt his abilities now.
