Though the concept of the film Ninna Nedu Repu sounds quite philosophical, it deviates from the trend. Waiting to hit the marquee on October 9, Ninna Nedu Repu is not a love story, clarifies its director Lakshmikanth Chenna.
"You don’t find any film without a love story in recent times. In that our film is going to be an exception. Another important thing is hero never happens to meet villains in the film," says the director of Hyderabad Nawabs.
"It’s is all about yesterday’s planning for today and whether we could achieve it or not today and its consequences tomorrow," sums up the director.
According to him though Tamanna appears in just six scenes it’s an important role. Made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, it’s about an youngster who tries to succeed in life.
Kanth as he is called by his friends has been in the industry for the last ten years and worked as an assitant editor at Shankar and assistant director at Teja and Rasool Ellore.
The director got to direct his first film Hyderabad Nawabs when he was working as co-director for ‘Bommarillu’ and came to light after its runaway success.
Except Tamil comedian Karunas replacing Venumadhav in Tamil, the rest of the cast is same in both Telugu and Tamil. "It’s screen-play based story. You can say we have taken bold move featuring the Ravikrishna of 7/G Brindavan Colony in a film without love story," he feels. The film does have chasing and action sequences arousing tension. |  |
