Synopsis

'Rakshana' is dubbed version of Tamil Hit Bose.

This is yet another film of a bad politician and an upright hero — hence theme wise there's nothing you've not come across before. But the scene and sequences are quite new and that's where story writer-director Senthil Kumar scores. Peter Hein's stunning stunt choreography is another major highlight of "Rakshana."

Srikanth plays as a commando for the first time. Sneha plays a student of Kalakshetra, the dance school in Chennai. Srikanth is a black cat attached to Kalabhavan Mani a union minister in Delhi. Four reels later the action shifts to Chennai. It has love, family sentiments and action too" says Senthilkumar. Action scenes at the Woodlands Theatre in which thousands of junior artistes took part was recently filmed. Srikanth broke the windowpanes at the top floor and jumped on top of the car parked below. Even though Heyen felt it was risky, Srikant took the risk because he felt that today's audience who come to the theatres are the youth who are exposed to Hollywood action films. Heyens has adopted Hollywood styles in action.
