Synopsis

'Sakhiya' is the story of a very happy-go-lucky boy who is unaware of his responsibilities. He meets with a girl who is poles apart- very responsible and trustworthy. He falls in love with her, suddenly has his eyes opened and he becomes responsible too. According to the director Jayant, "It is a good love story that would enthrall all classes of audiences." Dialogue writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao says, 'The film reflects the real life love subject. Especially the climax came out excellently. After a long time, Lakshmi is playing a good character. Moreover, Manisharma's music would be a highlight. He gave melodious tunes to all the songs. The film will have a distinct image among all the films with love subject.' Tarun says, 'I am playing the role of a youth, who responds to the problems of others. The film moves around the changes in the live of that youth after he falls in love with a girl. Director Jayant is moulding the subject in an impressive way.' Writer Deenraj says, 'The film would give another image to Tarun, in addition to the present lover boy image.' One of the producer AK Kumar says, 'For any film, there will be a specific budget. But we are not giving preference to the budget and looking only at quality. It will remain a landmark movie in the career of my nephew Tarun.'
