Synopsis: YVS Chowdary, who had earlier produced 'Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo…' in his own direction on the banner of Bommarillu Vaari was proved a big hit. Again, he is making 'Seetaiah' with Harikrishna in the lead in his own production. The regular shooting of the film began on December 11. Harikrishna, who is playing the title character, looks in a police officer's role. Soundarya and Simran are pairing in the other lead roles which had good scope for performance.
Director Chowdary started 'Seetaiah' after the success of 'Lahiri Lahiri Lahiriloo...' Executive producer Venkateswara Rao says, 'The story of 'Seetaiah' was okayed during the shooting of 'Lahiri Lahiri Lahiriloo…' Generally, stories will be prepared in two ways. The first method is to take a good story and later select the hero, heroine and other cast. The other method is to prepare a story keeping in mind the lead characters. When it comes to 'Seetaiah', the second method was followed. Chowdary had prepared the story, keeping Harikrishna in mind.' Though there are four heroines and a youth pair, this film was titled 'Seetaiah' as the subject totally revolves round his character. Though Soundarya and Simran playing key roles, there will be no duets with any of these heroines. However, there is a good scope for performance for both these senior artistes. Both the lady characters were prepared with equal weight.
