Synopsis
'Xtra' directed by Veeru K and jointly produced by Ravi and Venu on the banner of Sri Chitra with Vadde Naveen and Ruthika in the lead is in the last schedule shooting. Vadde Naveen says, 'Director Veeru K is moulding a delicate issue on the celluloid in his own inimitable style. The film will have both entertainment and a good message. I am very happy that the director was trying to give a good message through my character. I played different roles in my career, but the character in this film will bring me a good recognition. I am sure that the film earn me a good name.' Veeru K says, 'The film 'Xtra' reflects the views of the present generation. It has all kinds of elements to attract all classes of audiences. The title in itself gives a different impression, but as expected by some, the film not have any 'extras' [excesses]. But for two songs, the shooting of the entire film is over. Those songs would be shot on Naveen, Ruthika and Santosh Pavan very soon. I got further confidence after watching the rushes and as far as business also, it is good and satisfactory.' Ruthika says, 'The subject will definitely attract the youths. I am sure that the film would earn me more chances as heroine.'
