'Bhageeradha' is a complete mass entertainer. The highlights of the movie are comedy and superbly choreographed action scenes by Kanal Kannan. Though there is nothing new in story, the direction and screenplay by Rasool made all the difference. The movie completely belongs to Ravi Teja and Prakash Raj. Camera of Sunil Reddy has captured all good locales. On-screen chemistry between ravi teja and Shreya is excellent.

Story:
The story is about a village Krishna Lanka somewhere in Godavari district which is a small island. The village chief Bullabhai’s (Vijaykumar) only dream is to have a bridge built to connect the island with the mainland. KVR (Prakash Raj), an IAS officer now a construction king who hails from the same village promises to fulfill his dreams. But even after 20 years the dream is not fulfilled.
Finally, Bullabhai sends his son Chandu (Ravi Teja) to Hyderabad to meet KVR and get the promised bridge built. But soon Chandu realizes that the bridge is of least priority to KVR and a deadly game of one-man upmanship erupts between them. Chandu also gets support from KVR’s daughter Shweta (Shriya) who likes Chandu’s devotion and selfless work and the two join hands to realize the ambition of the villagers. Like the Bhageeratha character in mythology, Chandu is able to do something for the welfare of the people and also bring out a change in the heart of villain KVR.

Performance:
Ravi Teja has done a neat job and he has mixed acting with comedy in the right way. After a long time, Shriya gets a good role and she is good. Prakash Raj, a specialist in playing mind games villain role is perfect; Venu Madhav and Sunil take care of the comedy department well.

Music:
Chakri's music is a big let down. Songs and background score are not impressive.
