'Bunny' by V.V.Vinayak is entertaining from the word go. It is a romantic movie which has Polavaram project as subject in the backdrop. Screenplay is good. Photography by Chota K Naidu is excellent. Fights are striking and production values are rich. First half focusses on romance between the hero and heroine. second half deals with the rift between Father-In-Law and Son-In-law.
Story: Bunny (Allu Arjun) and Mahalakshmi (Gowri Mumjal) study in the same college. Mahalakshmi's father Somaraju (Prakash Raj) is a millionaire. He is very possessive of his daughter, so he keeps 24-hour security on her at the college. However Bunny and Mahalakshmi fall in love. Somaraju accepts their love since he loves his daughter very much and cannot see a tear in her eye.
Here comes the twist in the story Bunny asks for the property of Somaraju to be written on his name prior to marriage. The crux of the story is all about the whereabouts of Bunny and why he asks for the property.
Music:Music by Devisri Prasad is impressive. The songs 'Bunny Bunny' and 'Maaro Maaro' stand out.
Performance: Allu Arjun's performance was great. His expressions were more matured. He looked stylish and his dance numbers were rocking.
Debutant actress Gowri Mumjal did a decent debut. Tamil hero Sarath Kumar had an important role and did justice to it. Prakash Raj's performance was extremely impressive. Raghu Babu's comedy was the highlight of the film. MS Narayana was remarkable as the principle. Venu Madhav was good as the peon. All the other supporting cast also did their best.
