Cheppave Chirugaali is remake of tamil movie 'Unnai Ninnithen' starring Surya. First half of the film is very boring and pathetically slow. Second half is also very slow. Vikraman's screenplay is out of date. The movie has too much of sentiment and emotional scenes.

Story:Venu (Venu) is a receptionist at a small time hotel in Vizag. Nirmala (Ashima Bhalla) and her father (Mouli) are neighbours. Their financial status is in bad shape and Venu helps them monetarily. Nirmala falls in love with Venu and Nirmala's family approves their relationship. Ramji, a well of guy enters the scene and starts helping Nirmala and her family. Nirmala's father shifts his attention to Ramji and forces Nirmala to accept Ramji's marriage proposal.
Later, Venu meets another girl Radha (Abhirami) who starts loving him and also monetarily helps him out. Nirmala gets cheated and dumped by Ramji. Venu sells off all his property to pay as a donation in a private college for Nirmala to get her a medical seat. When Nirmala becomes a doctor, she proposes to Venu. Will he accept or not or choose Radha as his life partner forms the climax.
Music: Rajkumar's music is stale.
Performance: Venu is a miscast for the role, though he performed well. Ashima Bhalla is average. Abhirami is the only saving grace of the film.
Verdict Below Average
