The film tells us about the problem that arises among the NRIs during the marriage. Though the subject is little, 'Chukkallo Chandrudu' has been picturised well into a two and a half hour movie.
Story:
Arjun (Siddhardh), an NRI, lives with his grand parents (ANR, Waheeda Rehman) in Germany after the death of his parents. He gives a commitment to his grandfather that he would find a bride and marry soon. He returns to India and takes the help of his childhood friend Puppy (Sunil). Arjun identifies three girl childhood friends - Sravani, Sandhya and Shalini. Three of them are different personalities. Sravani is a middle class girl who is studying MBBS. Sandhya (Charmy) is a women activist. Shalini Rao (Saloni) is a tennis celebrity. Arjun changes his name as Krishna in order to meet these three girls strangely. His wish is to select the best girl as a bride. Who becomes the bride to him is the remaining story.
Performance:
Siddhardh has comeout with a good character as expected by the audience. He performs well in all the sequences. Sada looks simple and cute in her appearance. She has got more part out of the three to play. Charmy has performed her role prettily. Saloni looks beautiful in her attire. ANR suits well for the role of Siddhardh's grandfather. Sunil's comedy is good. All the others have performed their part adequately. Music given by Chakri is one of the highlights in the movie. All the songs are good and situational. The script is written by Siddharth himself. Screenplay and direction are ok.
