'Mangala' is directed by Osho Tulasiram. And he has come with a thoughtful storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was the problem.
Story:
The story begins with Mangala (charmy), a successful actress in film industry. She has a crazy fan (Vijay sai) whose father (pradeep rawath) is a powerful black magician. When the fan comes to the city to meet Mangala, an incident occurs and Mangala misunderstands the fan tried to misbehave with her. The fan gets bashed and hurt by this, he attempts suicide and lands in hospital. Before his death, he wants to see Mangala but despite his father's requests, Mangala doesn't respond as she is busy with her shooting. The black magician is enraged and he casts a deadly spell on Mangala. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Charmy comes up with a riveting performance and proves that she is the right mix of talent and immense sex appeal. Pradeep Rawath was haunting and makes his presence felt strongly. Vijay Sai was apt, Subhash was good. Uttej and Saptagiri generate few smiles, Chitram Seenu was apt, the others did their bit as required.
Music:
'Mangala' music is composed by Vishwa. And the background score was the major highlight but songs were unnecessary and not upto the mark.
