'Mee Intikoste Yem Istaaru Maa Intikoste Yem Testaaru' is the remake of a successful Tamil film 'Middle Class Madhavan'. With three heroes, three heroines and the entire film runs with comedy as its backdrop. Raja Vannemreddy himself provided screenplay besides direction for this film. The comedy made the film worth watchable.

StoryMadhav (Aditya Om) is a junior advocate and works with a senior Viswanath (Bhagyaraja). He is from a middle class family. His father is a retired court attender (Chalapati Rao) and mother is a housewife (Annapurna). He had two elder sisters (Kovai Sarala and Radhika Chowdary) and a younger brother (Suman Setty). The responsibility of getting his sisters married is on Madhav. A purohit brings an alliance to one girl (Kovai Sarala) and the groom Ramdas (Brahmanandam) is an auto driver, while one of Madhav's clients and a former zamindar Yuvaraj (Sunil) falls in love with another girl (Radhika Chowdary). Now, on the other side of the coin, Harika (Sangeeta) is an orphan and the partners of her father ditch him and only Rs 3 lakh remains in her entire property after making payments to all the debtors. Surprisingly, Viswanath is her advocate and treats Harika like a sister. Madhav's father arranges the engagement function in a park to avoid entertaining unnecessary guests. Harika happens to see the entire function and being an orphan, she wanted to be a part in such a big family. Harika works as announcer in the RTC and once Madhav meets her at the bus stand. He too likes her very much. Again, when Madhav goes to a jewellery shop to purchase gold for his sisters' marriage, happens to meet Harika and takes her help in selecting the ornaments. Later, there was a commotion in the market and Madhav loses his bag containing gold and cash. He pleads with everyone there to return it saying without that gold and cash, he could not get his sisters married and the entire family will have no option but to commit suicide.

In order to help him Harika tells him that the gold and cash were safe. But to return them, she needs money which is in the custody of court. Until she gets married, the court will not release the amount. So, with the help of Viswanath, Harika marries Madhav and ensures the marriages of his sisters-in-law. However, the entire in-laws' family was against her because she is an orphan and did not bring any dowry. Due to some reason Harika and Madhav could not enjoy their first night. While Harika's sisters-in-law turn pregnant, she could not. One of Madhav's father's friends, who come to their house regularly to play cards, comment that Harika is impotent and could not bless with children. Harika could not bear it and attempts to neck him out. In the process she pushes her mother-in-law. At the same time Madhav reaches house and slaps Harika. Unable to bear the humiliation, Harika takes sleeping pills in large number and attempts suicide. At this juncture, Viswanath comes to know what had happened and takes Madhav to his house and reveals how Madhav lost his bag with gold and cash and what Harika did to help him. Realising their mistake the entire family feels bad and pleads with Harika to return home and the latter reveals that she had taken the extreme step. Her friends in the working women's hostel admit her to hospital and soon she gets well, which forms the crux of the movie.
Music
Music by Ghantadi Krishna is average and the introductory song of Sangeeta is quite fast.
Performance
Aditya Om, who was the main lead, performed an average action while Sangeeta gave an impressive performance as an understanding wife. Brahmanandam and Sunil had shared the comedy part of the film. The film had several comedians of the Telugu industry. Kovai Sarala is in her usual best. After a long time, Bhagyaraja appeared on the Telugu screen and SP Balasubrahmanyam dubbed his voice.
