'Narasimhudu' had terrific openings but the movie is a complete dissapointment. The first half is mediocre and the second half is a big let down. Except for NTR the movie has nothing to offer. The story itself is lame which involves sexually molesting a 11yr old minor girl, screenplay is not gripping and music is average. Even comedy is in bad taste. NTR has to come out of his 'Mass Hero' impression and try something new.
Story:
Narasimhudu (NTR) is an orphan whose parents sacrificed their lives for the welfare of the village. He is raised by the whole village and is like a family member to all the villagers. He serves the entire village without seeking anything in return. In one incident, kins (Rahul Dev & GV Sudhakar) of two political bigwigs JD (Punit Issar) and Pothuraju (Kalabhavan Mani) sexually molest a minor girl and kill her. The rest of the story is all about how he seeks revenge.
Performance:
NTR does his part excellently – be it the emotional scenes, dances or fights. Sameera Reddy was seductive as the 'Phalghat Pala Papa' who dances excellently with NTR and entertains the masses with her skin show. Amisha is impressive as NTR's neice. She is restricted to the songs only. Kalaibhavan Mani's character is just an extension of his own in Gemini, but it entertains. while Asish Vidyarthi plays a good cop. Rahul Dev, Jeeva and Puneet Issar are adequate.
Music: Music by Mani Sharma is average. Arthi sizzles in item song 'Rajamandrike'.
Verdict: Average.
