'Oka Pellam Muddu Rendo Pellam Vaddu' starring Rajendra Prasad has a routine story line. The movie reminds of Jagapathi Babu's Subhalagnam. Direction by Kongarapi Venkata Ramana mediocre and the screenplay is weak. Except for Rajendra Prasad's comedy and performance the movie has nothing to offer.

StoryHarischandra (Rajendra Prasad) and Satya (Raasi) are husband and wife. Satya's brother promises Rs. 1 crore if this couple gives birth to a girl. Once a Swamiji tells Satya that if they lie consistently, they'll end up with a daughter. Satya forces Harishchandra to start lying and because of this, he ends up marrying another woman (Gurlin Chopra). Harishchandra owes money to his friend (Jeeva). So when Jeeva offers his sister's hand to Harishchandra he could not refuse and ends up marrying her. He brings Gurlin and introduces her as his wife to his brother and introduces Satya as a servant maid. How the two wives compromise forms the crux of the story.

Music
Music is dull with no melody.
Performance
Rajendra Prasad is the only saving grace. Raasi with overweight is hardly a pair to Prasad. Gurlin exposes liberally especially in last song. All the other characters are just about okay.
