Rasool and his team did a pretty good job.
'Okariki Okaru' is a romantic movie. Rasool Ellore, who proved his mettle in excellent camera work in movies like 'Gulabi, Little Soldiers, Chitram, and Nuvvu Nenu' came with a decent love subject for the film in his debut direction. Camera by Sunil Raja is excellent. Choreography and editing is also impressive.

Story Kameswara Rao alias Kamesh alias Pandu [Sriram] a software engineer, is the only son of Lokesh [Tanikella Bharani]. Once he accompanies his grandmother to Benaras. He comes across Subbalakshmi alias Swapna [Arthi Chhabria] during his visit to Benaras along with his grandmother. The journey halts abruptly due to heavy rains and floods. They meet each other and become good friends. There they meet Williams [Lakshmi Rathan], a retired station superintendent, who invites them to his house. So, Pandu, his grandmother, Swapna, her grandfather Rao [Balaiah] takes shelter in his house. There Swapna tells Pandu that her name is Subbalakshmi, while Kamesh also lies to her that his name is Rahul. They fall in love, but do not reveal it. Later they get separated and Swapna leaves to US.
Kamesh, makes trials to get employment in the US and finally gets the opportunity to go to the US through Vishal. In fact, Vishal happens to be the person a good friend of Swapna and he loves her very much. However, he very well knows that Swapna is in love with one Rahul in India. After making so many trials for about a year, Swapna compromises and decides to marry Vishal. Kamesh finally traces Subbalakshmi alias Swapna in a local train and she also sees him. Somehow, they were about to meet, but Kamesh finds Swapna taking solace in the hands of Vishal. So, he decides to keep himself away, as he happened to be his employer and their engagement was also fixed. But, Vishal tells Kamesh that he knows the mind of Swapna and how eagerly waiting for him for one long year. He opens his heart saying that Swapna had just compromised with him and her true love is with him. He unites both Swapna and Kamesh.

Music
All the tunes given by MM Keeravani are quite melodious and the re-recording is also excellent. Lyrics by Chandrabose are impressive. Sirivennela Sitaramasastry also penned a lyric for the movie.
Performance
Sriram did a commendable job. Arthi Chabira is glamorous and gave good performance. Vijay donned a comedy role and generated lots of humor. All other artistes did justice to their respective characters.
Verdict
The movie is a decent family entertainer. With good script, music and direction, Okariki Okaru is a good movie to watch.
