'Pandem' is lot similar to 'Kabaddi Kabaddi'. They both have the same leading star cast Jagapathi babu and Kalyani, both have village backdrop, and story is also similar to a certain extent. In a nutshell 'Pandem' is a remake of 'Kabaddi Kabaddi' with a few changes.

Story:
Seenu (Jagapati Babu) roams with a gang of six friends who just fool around with nothing to do. He falls in love with Sita (Kalyani) - a teacher in elementary school. He comes to know that Sita wants to marry a guy who is in better position than her. Lingaraju (Ramaraju) a corrupted person is the president of that village from past 25 years. It's time for elections and Seenu wants to become president of village so that he could serve the village and also can influence Sita to mary him. He challenges Lingaraju that he would defeat him. The rest of the story is all about how he wins his challenge (Pandem).


Music:Music by Chakri is OK. 'Guppedu Gundela' song is the pick of the lot.
Performance:
Jagapati Babu has done an excellent job his body language and histrionics are perfect. Kalyani's role is stereotype with same routine performance. Ramaraju is appropriate as village head. Kondavalasa's comedy is okay.
