'Political Rowdy' Mohan Babu's comeback vehicle, is a complete disappointment. The film, a remake of the Tamil Flick Adi Thadi, has been rather shabbily directed by newcomer Adi. Mohan Babu's talents seem wasted in it. Charmme also has nothing much to do other then wear skimpy clothes to show her skin. She had earned a good name with her earlier film Anukokunda Oka Roju, but seems completely out of focus here.
Story:
Panduranga Vittal alias Pandu, played by Mohan Babu, is a good-hearted rowdy who settles politicals disputes. He is a misogynist to boot and dislikes the prospect of marriage. When his brother, Surya (Prakash Raj) falls in love with a girl (Aishwarya), Pandu disowns him.
But by a quirk of fate, he himself falls in love with Kaveri, played by Charmmee. He is so smitten that he even tries to reform himself to impress her. However, Kaveri is merely teasing him and is in love with another person (Abbas). The story then takes a curious turn.
Performance:
Mohan Babu essays the rowdy's character with ease. But there is nothing spectacular about his performance. Brahmanandam and Prakash Raj impress.
Music: Sandeep Chowtha's music is impressive and the songs are good.
Verdict: Average.
