'Sye' directed by SS Rajamouli is stylish and trendy. Much of the story revolves around the Rugby game. Rajamouli succeeded in canning the Rugby game so that everybody can understand the basics of the game. Dialogues by M Ratnam are adequate. Senthil Kumar did an impressive job as the cinematographer.

Story:Pruthvi (Nitin) & Sashank (Sashank) are the gang leaders always at loggerheads. They are fond of Rugby game and they sort the things out between them by playing Rugby to prove superiority. A local mafia leader Bhikshu Yadav (Pradeep Rawat) through a court order purchases the land of a college from its legal heirs. The groups of Pruthvi and Sashank unite to fight the mafia lord. After getting beaten by students, Bhikshu Yadav throws a challenge to defeat his team in Rugby play to win back the land for their college. The rest of the story is all about how Pruthvi leads his team to the victory.

First half of the film is slow and little boring. The second half is better. Climax is good.



Music:
Keeravani's music is good. Picturization of the songs is also good. English tunes in the background music is also good.
Performance:
Nitin suits the role well and does his part perfectly. Genelia looks chic and cool as a college going girl. Shashank provides a perfect foil to Nitin. Rajiv Kanakala is good in an inspiring role of Rugby coach. Venu Madhav's comedy is hilarious. Tanikella Bharani and Nassar are adequate. Pradeep Rawat is impressive
