After Nuvve Kaavali, the friendship theme has become quite common in Tollywood. Boy and girl who are neighbors and fight like hell ultimately end up falling in love with each other. This film is no different.

Venu Madhav [Udaykiran] and Sreenu [Jathin] are close friends since childhood. Their families are also very good friends and both are neighbours. Madhav and Sreenu are good football players. They play for their college at Calcutta and win the game at inter-collegiate level. In a bid to save Madhav from an accident, Sreenu comes under a running vehicle and loses his leg and the doctors declare that he was unfit to play football any more.
Amrutha [Arthi Agarwal] is the granddaughter of Viswanatham [K Viswanath]. She is an innocent girl. Once Madhav accidentally meets her and loses his heart. At the instance of her friend, Amrutha leaves for Shirdi from there that friend takes her to Goa where there was a football match being played by Madhav and his team. He invites her to the football match and their team wins. When the entire is celebrating the victory, Madhav finds Amrutha alone and goes to her and they had a brief conversation. At that time, one person happens to see them talking together and gets objection from Madhav, when the former tries to tease her.
After Amrutha's return from the tour, Viswanatham finds her a match and gets her marriage fixed. During the marriage, the person, who watched Amrutha at Goa and tried to tease her discloses to the bridegroom's father [Devadas Kanakala] that she had a boyfriend and he saw them in Goa. The marriage gets disturbed and Viswanatham dies of heart attack with the disruption of the marriage. On coming to know this, Madhav goes to Amrutha's house and gets a slap from her. She chides Madhav that he was responsible for the death of her grandfather. Later, Madhav makes several attempts to win the heart indirectly. Once Amrutha mistakes that Sreenu is helping her and is not coming out because of the handicap. She decides to marry him as she was under the impression that he helped her a lot. Madhav also decides to sacrifice his love for the sake of his friend. He remains silent, as Sreenu is his best friend and he lost his leg because of him, which threw him away from the football. But Madhav's friends do know well that it was Madhav, who helped her and loved her so much. Finally, the truth comes out and Sreenu unites Madhav and Amrutha.
Everybody's done a good job. But there is nothing new in the storyline or in the presentation that could interest the viewers. Music score by RP Patnaik is impressive.
