First half interesting, second half boring.


'Veede' is a remake of Tamil hit 'Dhool' starring Vikram. Director Ravi Raja has done a decent job. This film has got all elements Romance, action, comedy and sentiment with mass touch. Unlike other Tamil Vikram films remake like Seshu, Sreeram and Gemini which did not do well at the box office, Veede has good story and screenplay. The first half of the film is good and the second half is average.

Story Yedu Kondalu (Ravi Teja) staying in Bobbarlanka along with Manga Tayaru (Arti Agarwal) and her grandmother (Telangana Sakuntala) are sent by village chief to Hyderabad so that they could meet the minister and express the village's problem of water pollution from a factory. They come to Chudi Bazaar in Hyderabad and stay in the house of Sunny (Ali). It's an area ruled by a lady don Swarnakka (Nalini) who has a nexus with an evil-minded politician cum state minister Naidu (Sayaji Shinde). Yedu Kondalu gets on the wrong side of the goons of Swarnakka. And in turn rubs the corrupt minister Naidu the wrong way. The victory of Kondalu over Swarnakka and corrupted minister forms the story.
Music
Music by Chakri is impressive but Telangana Shakuntala's song gives you a migraine.
Performance
Ravi Teja perfectly fits into his character. He gave a good performance as a mass hero. Arti gave an impressive performance, but she has to do some dieting. Reema Sen is glamorous to look at. Comedy by Ali is okay. Telangana Sakuntala and others also did a good job.
